WebNov 4, 2024 · I think it's clear that what's supposed to happen is that Seedvault works for secondary profiles and the restore activity would be added to the setup wizard script. GrapheneOS simply bundles Seedvault and sets it as the default backup provider. Other than bundling a setup wizard with support for Seedvault restore, the rest is up to Seedvault. WebBackups. GrapheneOS uses Seedvault like pretty much all other alternative OS' that provides a backup function, but Seedvault is known for not being very reliable, and you can't create a backup from a phone that doesn't include Seedvault.
